Facility Information
Centerline Farm Inc., a Maryland Corporation, operates a Horse Stable on farm land purchased in 1998. The Land is located in a predominantly agriculture farm area. The 47 acres includes the primary residence, the horse barn, riding ring, pastures and approximately 25 acres of timothy hay. The facilities main emphasis is Dressage and in it's first year the stable hosted Becky Langwost clinics, dressage schooling show and a saddle fitting clinic. Since that first year the facility continues to conduct successful Dressage Shows each year hosting a very successful PVDA schooling show in 2005.
The Barn is 36 x 84 feet and houses 11 12x12 stalls, a 12 x 12 wash stall with hot and cold water, a centrally heated and air conditioned tack room with a bathroom. The tack room has a refrigerator and microwave for the client's use. The aisle is 12 foot wide asphalt and all stalls are rubber matted. All stalls have overhead fans and lights controlled individually at each stall doorway. The barn is equipped with a fly spray system which is very effective in controlling flies and mosquitoes.
The Arena is 100 x 200 Foot blue stone surface and is lighted by 4-1000 watt fixtures 40 feet above the riding area. The arena has a covered building for viewing and is used for judging during shows.
The Grounds can be used for riding and provide a viriety of riding conditions. Wooded areas exist with a path under construction. The perimeter fencing is still under work and we hope to complete it in 2006.
Potomac Valley Dressage Association (PVDA) Schooling Shows are held each year. The 2006 Schedule has a fall show scheduled. More information about the PVDA schedule and activities can be found at http://www.pvda.org/
